BeiDou Satellite Radiation Force Models for Precise Orbit Determination and Geodetic Applications

چکیده
China's BeiDou satellite navigation system (BDS) has completed its full constellation in orbit since June 2020. Services have been evolved from regional (BDS-2) to global (BDS-3). This contribution evaluates the impact of solar radiation pressure (SRP) modeling on orbits and geodetic parameters. To that end, we process 2 years BDS observations (2019-2021), collected by a network 100 ground stations. A physical priori box-wing model based estimated optical properties is introduced. Various effects, such as radiator emission thermal panels are considered. The ECOM (Empirical CODE Model), ECOM+along-track ECOM2 models employed top experiment. We show without use model, shows clear better solutions during eclipse seasons for BDS-3 satellites. proven be mainly due panels. However, along-track acceleration highly correlated with LOD (length day) estimates this case contaminated. When using orbital errors greatly reduced all models. For instance, misclosures CAST (China Academy Space Technology) satellites improve factor two seasons. Furthermore, mitigates great majority spurious signals

A Robust Method to Detect BeiDou Navigation Satellite System Orbit Maneuvering/Anomalies and Its Applications to Precise Orbit Determination
The failure to detect anomalies and maneuvering of the orbits of navigation satellite sensors will deteriorate the performance of positioning and orbit determination. Motivated by the influence of the frequent maneuvering of BDS GEO and IGSO satellites, this paper analyzes the limitations of existing methods, where BDS orbit maneuvering and anomalies can be detected, and develops a method to so...
متن کاملExperimental Study on the Precise Orbit Determination of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System
The regional service of the Chinese BeiDou satellite navigation system is now in operation with a constellation including five Geostationary Earth Orbit satellites (GEO), five Inclined Geosynchronous Orbit (IGSO) satellites and four Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites. Besides the standard positioning service with positioning accuracy of about 10 m, both precise relative positioning and precise...

In 2015, the plan for global coverage by the Chinese BeiDou Navigation Satellite System was launched. Five global BeiDou experimental satellites (BeiDou-3e) are in orbit for testing. To analyze the performances of precise orbit determination (POD) and precise point positioning (PPP) of onboard BeiDou satellites, about two months of data from 24 tracking stations were used. According to quality ...

By August 2016, 5 new-generation BeiDou satellites (BeiDou-3) have successfully been launched. The observations of a very limited number of 9 International GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Monitoring and Assessment Service (iGMAS) stations and 52 Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) stations from 16 July to 14 August 2016 are processed to determine the orbits of BeiDou-3 and BeiDou-2 satellite...
